Principals
Charles Bennett, MBA, founded Process Partners, LLC in 2004, as a strategic consulting partner for national, regional, and local CPA firms to provide technology and process consulting services, complementary to their traditional financial services. Charles has over 35 years consulting experience across a wide range of organizations with a focus on organizations seeking performance improvements with a high return on investment.
Prior to founding Process Partners, Charles was with BDO, as the SE Regional Partner, Management Advisory Services, and with Dixon, Odom (now Dixon Hughes Goodman) as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Management Advisory Services. Internationally, Charles has led projects for clients in Canada, Guatemala, Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, Jordan, and the United Kingdom.
Prior to his career in public accounting and consulting Charles held engineering and accounting management positions with defense, textile, and apparel manufacturing companies. His industry background encompassed roles as Financial Reporting Director for an SEC listed corporation, and Controller, IT Director, and Senior Industrial Engineer for manufacturing companies.
Charles’ consulting career includes extensive experience in leading major technology transition initiatives leveraging his knowledge and understanding of project management, change management, and value realization.
He has experience in a wide range of industries including textiles, furniture, and apparel manufacturing, and metal fabrication, food processing, capital equipment distribution and packaging, trucking, and education. Examples of types of projects with companies from $25M to $2B, that Charles has led include the following:
- Enterprise systems transitions for over eighty corporations.
- Manufacturing cost systems development for discrete manufacturers
- Process optimization re: QTC, PTP, P2P, PD and Accounting processes

Charles holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. He was a CPA certified in North Carolina for over 30 years.

Ed DePrimo
Ed DePrimo is a strategic advisor to Process Partners with over 35 years of IT management experience in a variety of industries and business environments. Ed has developed a reputation for delivering innovative solutions and driving business value through technology. Throughout his career, he has held multiple CIO roles and provided executive level advice and governance to organizations of all sizes and across various industries.
Ed started his IT career in technical support and system administration and held various technical positions prior to moving into IT executive management roles. He has held senior IT management positions, including CIO role, with both privately and publicly owned companies. Ed has a proven track record working with all levels of business management to identify, scope, prioritize, and deliver value from IT initiatives. Ed is currently the Chief Information Officer for a large global manufacturing corporation where he has consolidated multiple disparate IT organizations into a high performing global team and implemented a global cyber security program using the NIST Cyber Security Framework to protect the company’s IT assets.
Ed’s deep experience in IT management has been instrumental in implementing cyber security programs and managing multiple cyber breaches. He has a strong track record of designing and implementing effective cyber security programs to mitigate risk and protect against cyber threats.
Ed has implemented executive IT Governance programs at various companies that aligned IT resources to deliver quantifiable value across business functions as diverse as Trade Compliance, Engineering Product Development, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and IT Operations. Ed has been responsible for the successful technology integration of more than 30 acquired companies in industries as varied as Specialty Chemicals, Wholesale Distribution, Process and Discrete Manufacturing, Hi-Tech Engineering, and Commodity Manufacturing. He has also successfully delivered large scale IT Programs including the implementation of global ERP systems, ERP upgrades, MRP systems, Sales Force Automation and CRM systems, Manufacturing and Quality systems, Engineering Product Development systems, and various large-scale custom development enhancements to enterprise applications.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Boston University.
Lawrence C. Perkins, PE
Lawrence Perkins is Senior Associate Consultant with Process Partners, LLC. Lawrence is an experienced Operations and Technology Professional with more than 25 years as a Management Consultant and Consulting Professional and over 15 years as a CIO/CTO.
Mr. Perkins has extensive experience managing corporate and consulting project teams through strategic and tactical improvements ranging from the application of technology (enterprise systems, automation, material handling, data collection, support systems) to management processes (procedures, methods, incentive systems, management reporting, management information systems, automation). He has significant experience in manufacturing & distribution operations and direct experience in a wide variety of vertical industries, including Distribution, Manufacturing, Utilities, Services, Hospitality, and others.
Initial career as a Management Consultant (Touche Ross/Deloitte & Touche, BDO) focused on Supply Chain Strategy, Manufacturing and Distribution Operations, Conceptual and Facility Design, and project management for Construction and Facility Startup. Efforts ranged from granular process improvement assessments and corrective process change management to facility re-design/design and deployment.
Mr. Perkins transitioned from operations and engineering focus to include integration of Shop Floor, Warehouse Management, and Enterprise Manufacturing and Distribution Systems.
